a lesson this week

I missed the lesson on punctuation but I have read the modelling book and this is what I learn't

punctuation can go inside other punctuation and you can only use speech marks if their in pairs I don't really have much else to write about but i'll see you as soon as I can bye!!

excerpt from a lesson on 7 september

here's an excerpt that took ages to find!!!

It was 9:48 on sunday morning I was jumping up and down begging mum to hurry up!! oh I i'm grace i'm 9 years old and I love music. I go to berhampore primary school my family consists of me my brother christopher my mum and my dad clare and murray I wear glasses most of the time just so you know I am begging my mum to hurry up so that we can go shopping for my guitar!!!

Books!!!

my favourite book right now is probably charlie bone and the hidden king the reason I love this book is it is a mystery story it has other books in it's series it's about magic and it's a reasonable size- I hate books that are to big or to small or have to big or to small writing I am running out of things to say! so I better say goodbye for now!!!

Excerpt from a lesson aug 22 2011

i'll just show the funny bits!!!

I screamed and put on a burst of speed!!! ...   the bridge jerked to the left and nearly threw me of my feet!!!. ..   I whispered to my brother "walk slow!!" ....   "yippee"!!!!

Thats right I have finished the first page of my story and am on the second. The first part is the same as the writing sample but I have added a lot on to it and i'm making a chapter book out of it I am glad I had to do the writing sample now, because it gave me the idea for my series I am also glad I did my jazz exam after all- if I hadn't I wouldn't of had an idea for the writing sample at all !! cheerio see you next time Grace!

Rocks!!!

Thats right I had a lesson on Rocks and i'm quite excited about it buuuut thats not writing is it so anyway I started a new story yesterday it's called jaaaaaaaazz exam!!! it's part of my new series called  the exams the first book will involve a lot of what I call dance talk [french!] so it'll be quite hard at first with spelling since I don't know much french!!! but I know carly will help with that so it'll be okay- I hope !!! thats it for now though - bye.grace

Writing Sample Actually finished Today !!!

Thats right it is and phew I got it done all I can do now is wait, wait, wait, ! but I am glad I got it done at last!
we haven't had any lessons lately but I do have an idea for a story I could do it's kind of a series really but i'll just start 1 book today the series will be called exams but i'm not sure about the first books title i've had a few ideas but none of them are quite right so thats it for now bye. grace!
